Definitely talk to the seating specialist at the Durable Medical Equipment supplier (DME). My only idea is to get a preasure casting and have a memory foam insert precut to fit you with a relief area in the foam where your preasure sore is happening. Be sure your clothes aren't making the sheering worse. if your chair tilts in space, use it a lot. If it doesn't, be sure your next chair does. good luck Dan, john -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [email protected] Sent: Wed, 24 Jan 2007 1:43 PM Subject: [QUAD-L] Sheering on Cushion
I am having difficulty sitting on my Quattro Roho as it seems I am sliding to the side creating pressure sores. The cushion is inflated as instructed and I have a hip guide. I think the problem largely stems from my pelvic obliquity as my hips rotate up to the right and down on my left side. Any suggestions on how to address this problem of uneven hips and sheering? Thanks, Dan T. ________________________________________________________________________ Check out the new AOL.
