I am so glad you wrote back. I really like making new friends on the quad list. It is really great to exchange ideas. It's too bad we all live so far away and cannot get together. I would love to meet everyone on the list. My present desk was made made by a friend that came to visit me in the nursing home after reading an article about me in the newspaper. He recently died after being given too much radiation and scarring his lungs after beating lung cancer at 87. My desk was made out of a door and was L-shaped, that was 30 years ago. My dad added a piece to this year to make it longer , so I could add my lecturn.. It still is not long enough.
