I have just gotten a new laptop -- actually it is on his way home and right now -- and I am also told that the new Microsoft Vista speech program will work as well as DragonDictate. I have DragonDictate preferred version 9, and I'm really only learning to use it since I have been in bed. I have always used the mouth stick for everything except typing a letter that was fairly long. But I do like Dragon been NaturallySpeaking version 9 for running the computer, but since I will not have Microsoft XP on this new computer, I guess I better start studying. So, I'm going to go online now and start looking things up. I'll let you know what I find.

Does any one know anything about the new VISTA program and Dragon. I hope someone can help me. I just have Dragon 8 professional and he thought he had to order Dragon 9482 work. Surely someone has come across this problem. He is taking my bedroom computer to work on and all I will have is the laptop in here. My living room computer is new but it did not have this to so Dragon eight is working fairly well with some problems. He thought it was also a 64 bit whatever that means? HELP! Dana
