Hi Steve,

That's what I'm thinking. About the only way to heal a wound in that are is
to keep it clean, keep it dry, and keep off of it so it doesn't rub. A major
pain in the butt!

Is there any way you can stay out of the chair long enough for the sore to
heal completely? It would seem that spending even a couple of hours let alone
4-5 hours in the chair daily would undo any healing that is accomplished when
you are not in your chair. I have had periodic skin trouble for nearly nineteen
years of injury and I have never been able to heal a problem without staying
out of the chair. I also keep a small fan blowing on my groin area any time I
am in the bed, sore or otherwise, to prevent moisture from building up and
creating problems.

Question for the guys out there. (different anatomy than the female)

I have an area 1 inch by 1/2 inch, not deep, good granulation, VNA checked and
can find no tract, but it just won't heal.

The problem is that it is under the scrotum where it meets the torso, so
it is always warm and damp.

The VNA has me on protein, vitamins, etc. We have used Progran, a thin
covering that you put over the area, wet with saline and it is absorbed into
the area. No change.

I have now gone to a treatment that we used before, putting a heatlamp for 3
minutes along with neosporin and bagbalm in the AM, up in the chair 4-5 hours,
then put a fan on it for 7 minutes, then neo. and bagbalm. No change.

  Any ideas?
