It is caused by your hypothalmus gland no longer getting the info it needs to regulate your body temp and a bunch of other things properly. Unless an endocrinologist has come up with a synthetic hormone to relieve the problem, we are all stuck trying to find ad hoc solutions. This also explains the unusual panic or anxiety emotions that overwhelm many of us for short periods. I feel fortunate that I always took valium for spasticity and not baclophen. Valium helps to steady emotions as well as reduce spasticity. Baclophen only reduces spasticity and can cause a buzz, but doesn't smooth the emotional roller coaster that many of us experience. It is not easy to let go of strong emotions and just chalk it up as a hormone imbalance. I'm pretty certain that I wouldn't be here if I didn't discard my feelings. If any of you ever see a shrink (which I think is fun) be sure to tell them about your hypothalmus. Most of them need to read a book they didn't write themselves. Try to reme! mber, your not depressed, your just not releasing hormones in the right quantity. Knowing this has helped me tons in the past. Of course, I'm not married,, but hell, I'm ugly too! lol john 31 years post -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]; [email protected] Sent: Tue, 13 Feb 2007 10:15 AM Subject: Re: [QUAD-L] this is crazy
My symptoms are not caused by UTIs. I have not had a UTI since I came out of rehab. I believe my symptoms are caused by going out and about in the cold temperatures and also possibly a blood pressure thing.
