Might want to ask your doctor if 20mg a day might be better. Dry mouth is a side effect. Sore mouth is like too dry. You can't stop drinking and you can't take too much vitamin c. Hi all, My urologist has put me on Ditropan, 10 mg 3 times a day. Ditropan XL upsets my stomach. The problem that I have is of course dry mouth, but another is a very sore mouth.
