this is a group where anyone can voice their concerns and no one, including u, should judge people for those concerns. i have my share of "real problems" as does any quad. it's not like devotees are a huge concern that i sit around and worry about but it's definitely an issue i wanted to address and see if anyone had experienced the same thing. after reading your response, i think u may be confused -- a devotee is not just a person drawn to the chair -- it's a deeper psychological issue than pure attraction or interest in the chair.
most devotees are harmless but what about those who aren't? it's good for us to all be aware, not just for our physical safety, but also emotionally. i, personally, want to build healthy relationships with people, not ones solely based on the fact that i am disabled.
