Hello, I recently recall someone asking about a sliding glass door opener.
I also have been considering purchasing one. Has anyone had any experience
with the Gentleman Door company?

Not all siding doors are equal as brand new. Not all sliding doors are
equal after a couple of years of use and abuse. Those sliding tracks get
dirty,
rusty and bent from heavy chairs rolling over and bending them.
Adding any of the sliding door mechs to a new door has its potential
drawbacks. Adding a sliding door mech to an old door, placing a great burden
on the
motor and electronics. Then there are the dirty tracks and bent rims.
Also, consider the supply voltage and make sure that its properly grounded and
on
a separate circuit that is GFI and Surge Protected, to prevent failure.
