It was an eye opener to see them replace one general at Walter Reed then replace him a day later. I seriously think politicians and other gov't workers should have to use local military fascilities so they can see what veteran's are getting when they cut the budgets. Hi John, I'm late in reading this post, but just this week I read that Defense Secretary Gates has called the Army's treatment and care of its wounded soldiers at Walter Reed Medical Center as "unacceptable." The Army is taking this as a very serious matter and heads are already starting to roll. It is about time the military takes a serious look at their health care and makes some real changes.
