Hi Naomi,
I am a C4 C5 quadriplegic due to a motor vehicle accident in which my car
rolled three times. I was a sober driver for a crazy expedition four of my
friends and I were going on. It was midnight or thereabouts when I stopped by
my work (second job) and three of my coworkers as well as a good friend of mine
started talking about food. The subject of the waffle House chain restaurants
came up, and literally spur of the moment we decided to jump in my car and
drive to the nearest one. Well, I live in Minneapolis. Therefore the closest
one was Kansas City. Somewhere outside of Mason city Iowa, my right rear tire
blew out and I lost control of the steering which pulled me to the ditch which
catapulted us into the spin. One of the passengers had to have his rotator
cuff rebuilt the other three walked away with scratches. It's probably more
information than what you're looking for and I think it's a lot funnier with
the whole explanation. Truth be told, I'm still craving
some cheesy grits from the waffle House (not to mention some of their cinnamon
raisin toast with that apple butter, and maybe some covered smothered the list
goes on hashbrowns).
Journey well through life,
Lucinda
