Were you on a Stryker Frame? Yes, I was on/in one about six weeks in 1973. Then I had neck fusion surgery and was put in a circle bed. That hospital room was like a circus. Before I was on the Stryker frame with the lovely tongs in my skull I was on a regular bed that was propped up by my head on three 2X4's This was so that the 25 pounds weights that hung from my tongs would not hit the floor. BUT the bed fell off the 2X4's and the 25 pounds came crashing down to the floor. OUCH! This happened about one week after my accident. ~ Bobbie ~
