I tried that once but they refused to serve me there saying it was a safety
issue - they were afraid someone would drive over me! They said I would have to
go inside to be served.

response:

Hi all,
Yesterday my husband and I drove into Burger King and we were going to place
our order in the drive thru. When we got to the sign there was a man in a
wheelchair placing his order. When he got to the window they put his order in
the back pack on his chair. He then went on his way. When we got our order I
wanted to find him to see how far he was from home. He went about 3 blocks to
his apartment. He told me he did this with some of his bill paying. He said
so many places he went had safety glass and someone would have to come around
to help him and he found it easier just to go thru the drive thru . I wondered
what the difference was in paying thru a window slot on inside and outside but
it must be something I hadn't thought of.
