I don't know anyone who likes wearing a binder or support bracket, but when they are worn, bodies are supported better. The diaphragm is supported too, thus helping the blood pressure from zero'ing. Fitting a binder, is like buying a woman's bra, lol I like the external ones with shoulder straps, but not too tight as you don't need any pressure spots. Shoulder and waist alignment is normally improved. Try it everyday or every other day. If you are lucky to be working with a PT or OT, let them know what you are doing and be prepared to accept some advise on its proper positioning. W In a message dated 3/19/2007 2:01:14 P.M. I have an abdominal binder that I brought home from the hospital. I haven't worn a binder since the early part of my hospitalization(July 05). Maybe I'll put it on since you say it will help with aligning of the spine and with the quad belly.
