Hey K, You just get the ram from computer shop and change it inside your cpu. Get 1giga byte ram, that will change things even better. Should cost around 25-30$. Make sure to get same type of ram, which is presently fitted in your machine.
I did it many times instructing my attendants to do it for me. They had to open the cpu cover, look for the small square shaped ram, pull it to remove and replace by pushing a new ram in. If you have empty slot you can add rams to the existing ram. Nothing else need to be done. Your machine will recognise the new ram. hope it helps. Please take care :-) Shahidul Alam Dhaka Bangladesh On 3/25/07, [EMAIL PROTECTED] <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:
K, I was faced with the same dilemma. I was running Dragon Naturally Speaking 8.0, when I encounter a problem with it on my computer. I could not get it to work properly. I deleted it from the computer and tried to reinstall it. It didn't work. I purchased a 9.0 version, only to find that my computer did not have enough RAM, and the processor wasn't fast enough. My husband looked into purchasing more RAM, but by the time he came back from the store, he had just purchased a new computer. Of course, I had no problem loading the 9.0 on this computer. Both computers are laptop computers. I guess this isn't much information on answering your question, but I was just offering my experience.
