Greetings List Members,
My name is Deborah Lafky, and I am a researcher with the Kay Center for E-Health Research at Claremont Graduate University, Claremont CA. One of our Center's main objectives is to study disability issues as they relate to information systems used for health care. Currently, I am conducting a study to obtain people's opinions about how personal health information systems ought to be set up. I have conducted in-depth interviews with a number of people living with disabilities, including quad- and para- individuals. For the next part of the study, I have summarized what I learned from those interviews and created an online survey to find out if the majority of people feel the same way. I would like to invite the members of this list to participate in the survey. It takes about 30 minutes and it's online. It can be filled out by a PCA if that works best for you. Upon completion, you have your choice of several different rewards (see http://www.surveycafe.com/surveycafe/desserts.htm for choices). If none of those choices works for you, we are also offering a Target gift card. We are sincerely interested in obtaining input from people living with disabilities. Your opinion can make a real difference in how health care information is managed in the future. The goal is to increase people's control over their own health information and improve health care with better information. I hope you will consider signing up. Participation is limited and sign-ups close on April 13. To sign up or for questions or comments, you can respond on this list or write to me off-list at [EMAIL PROTECTED] Deborah Lafky Research Associate Kay Center for E-Health Research Claremont Graduate University Claremont, CA
