Hi JAG,

I'm getting into this discussion late, but I will add my comments here
anyway. After my SCI, 15 days shy of 31 years ago, my wife and I listened to
what the "Experts" on SCI & SEX had to say during my rehab. We decided to
explore and learn about Quad/AB sex on our own. We had long talks at night
after the boys were in bed, and we were able to be in an intimate setting. We
let our minds guide us and after some time working on initiating new methods of
making love, we found ways that we both could enjoy sex.

I would state for the record that making love and having intercourse are two
different things. Making love is something that a couple can do over many
hours in a very pleasurable way, and at some point in that time, they can
engage in intercourse, and then continue making love. The quality, or
quantity, of love made is not dependent on me having an erection to have
intercourse, so I don't need to buy meds to have a wonderful day of love
making. My partner is satisfied with her feelings, as I am, with the love
that we have made together.

I have an indwelling Foley, and when we are ready to have intercourse, I tape
it and cover it with a condom.

    With Love,
