How old are you John?
(just asking due to what it seems you were taught in school.)
Our "Forefathers" are the signers of our Constitution.
They didn't invent slavery, and some had to "compromise" their
personal feelings in order to get all 13 colonies to sign.
Thomas Jefferson went as far as to say he hoped the creator would
forgive them for it. Due to "State Law" he couldn't free his slaves
untill he died. Which he did.
Like most of our Forefathers who owned slaves, he treated them well,
more like family than a possesion.
Are you even aware that it is wrong to judge them according to what
was a common practice "then"?
They made sure the Constitution could be ammended, but that the Bill
of Rights couldn't be. The first ten Amendments are restrictions on
the government.
President Lincoln was the first to violate them. Yet he is considered
to be one of our greatest presidents.
The "Liberal" indoctrination by our public school system since the mid
70's is one of the greatest tragedies of our history. It has robbed 2
generations of an honest education, destroyed our heritage, and
created a flock of sheeple who lack personal responsibility.
The college shooting was a result of this moral vacuum.
When guns could be bought in hardware stores, these tragedies didn't happen.
So it is something else.
Like a lack of respect for human life.
This outcome was debated during Roe vs Wade.
Looks like thev Secular Progressives will never take responsibility
for their failed social experiments.

could be changed. They owned slaves for cryin out loud. They knew it was
wrong.

Is it so strange that our forefathers came to this country for religious
freedom. Consider that when writing the constitution the writers knew that
their words would be contested in decades to come. I think they did their
jobs pretty well considering what they were up against........
