While I was in the nursing home, my doctor there gave me an overdose of Zanaflex, which I had a severe reaction. My doctor panicked and took me off all my medications, including my Baclofen, Lyrica and Vicodin. I thought I was going to die!! I had such severe spasms, I nearly jumped off the bed. I was in such terrible pain, I didn't think I won't make it through the night. My occupational therapists came down to my room to see why didn't show up for therapy, and she went and told the nurse to call my doctor to gave me my medication back. It was terrible! Now I know why drug addicts won't stop doing drugs, it is too painful. I sympathize with them. Going cold turkey can be fatal.
