You are most welcome. Another interesting consideration to ponder. After all these years, I have yet to see, hear or read of a wheelchair manufacturer that certifies their electric wheelchairs, to be safe for private or public transport. As a retailer or DME, and they will voice that its ok, just be careful. Trying contacting your manufacturer (if you can) and nail them to a specific answer and they will tell you that electric wheelchairs were designed and made for ground transport only. How many electric wheelchair makers exhibit and properly mark TY-DOWN points on their chairs. Hence, owners are left with those decisions. Some are often forced to choose themselves where to secure their chair for safe passage. I'm sure that most people will say to be careful... and you should. Again and as always... safe passage. I'm going to ask my wheelchair company about the bouncing or rocking in the reclining position and if that is harmful to the chair. That is a good point, Wheelchair. Thank you for your advice. Dana ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.
