I am on the same goes as Jim, but I also take 7.5 mg of Valium a day.
When I initially went over to dantrolene it seemed to knock me out if it
took more than 25 mg a day. I had to work my way up to three times a day,
but so far I have had pretty good luck with it. I am a little leery about
the possible liver damage, but so far my doctors don't seem to be worried
and all of my tests have come back positive.

I used to be on over 20 mg of Valium a day and gradually worked my way down
to the level I am currently at. It took a while to wean down to the current
level of Valium, but it also required more daily range of motion.

I started taking it last Tuesday. It knocks me out. I don't know whether I
can handle it or not. Baclofen does me even worse.
