Diane, Yes, I happened taken Cymbalta for two years now. I'm not sure as to how much pain it relieves, because I also take Lyrica and Vicodin for pain. I was given Cymbalta for a dual-purpose, pain relief and antidepressant. It works very well as an antidepressant. I would say, it's worth a try.
