I have a bi-annual U/S myself. I also recently had my Gall Bladder removed.
It sounds to me that her questions were very typical and if anything truly
alarming was discovered you'd be immediately admitted to the hospital.
Don't worry too much, but definitely follow-up with your Dr. to alleviate
your nerves.

Thank You,

Subject: [QUAD-L] odd u/s session

i went to an ultra sound lab Friday for a 'checkup' session. the technician
was particularly interested in the area just beneath my sternum - i
evidentially have an aortic aneurysm that last summer measured 3.5
centimeters across. not to worry until it reaches 4 cm - whoopie. she
asked me things like, 'do you still have your gall bladder' and 'do you have
any abdominal discomfort' and 'you didn't eat or drink anything after
midnight did you?' - like as if maybe i probably didn't, and i should have,
and i must have... i watched her screen as she took pictures and then
rolled her mouse across each shadow and clicked on the edges leaving notched
ruler markings..... a lot of her rulers were longer than 4 'ticks' which
looked about like centimeters. i'm guessing i should have exploded long
ago... we'll see what the doc says.
