children scored an important victory last night against their
President.
By a vote of 225 to 204, the House of Representatives passed
major legislation to renew the State Children's Health Insurance
Program (SCHIP) and provide health coverage to 5 million
children who would otherwise go without it.
Thanks to many of you -- and to the Members of Congress who
showed the leadership to vote for the bill -- millions of
children are now one step closer to receiving the regular care
they need to grow into healthy adults.
Still, our work is not done yet.
