I see it differently. I've seen many Quad use Voc Rehab to their individual and personal benefits and have gone on to become doctors, lawyers, corporate executives, politicians, advocate leaders and government employees. Does it happen for everyone?? No. But those I have personally witness had a most unique drive and would not take no for an answer. They saw Voc Rehab as a necessary funding power and worked within the unfriendly system to get what they wanted and needed. I've said it before, each state has their pie and the amount varies from state to state. Challenging the system is not easy and its not getting any easier with all the budget cuts. That money is going to another country to build their intra structures, while our intra structures are crumbling.... Maybe after the next election we will see a difference. I truly pray so. Sure makes you think conservatives might have a point about not helping anyone. Well, naaaaaa. You know they don't want your message getting around to new paralyzed people.
