Yes, you can try irrigating or some say flushing with Acetic Acid----(which is 
the vinegar all ready mixed.)..I buy mine in bottles from the pharmacy, but you 
can make your own and it's cheaper, but I don't flush real often so a bottle 
lasts us a while.  As far as the blood in urine goes...there are a few 
bacterias that can cause some bleeding but also bloody urine can mean you got a 
bladder or kidney stone, If the blood continues or gets heavier--you may want a 
Urologist to check it.                   Dan
