I got it when I had the bladder surgery so I could cath through my abdomen but I still need to get it done again. That way I only have to flush out my colon once. I started to fall and it pulled out. I forgot the name since it's been a few years. I have been putting off the surgery because Ive had to deal with the surgeries on my sore and now my back. When I heal more, I will have both done again. Of course I will have to get much stronger so I can do the shower/toilet chair transfer. Basically it's a tube that is connected to your small intestine. It looks like a corkscrew. You flush saline (I got it from the pharmacy) using the old looking douch bags with a connection the doctor gives you. You need to have it hight up or it wont drain into the tube. The first couple of times, you stil need a supository to get it started but then the water gets into the stool so as long as you keep up with it, you dont need to use a suppository. I had to do it no less than everyother day. I loved it because it is so quick. My bowel program was over in no more than 45 minutes and as time went on it took less time and finally was about 20 minutes. It takes the strain away and keeps hemroids down. It's worth looking into.
