I realize that but what I was saying it isn't helping. I've taken an extra
pill andstill not working. Zyvox, the antibiotic that I am on is broad spectrum
and causing theaccidents by killing the bacteria and the accidents are
causingthe uti's because they are messy, especially after I do a bowel prep. I
think I'm done and then I have really loose stool the next morning so I've
given upon a bowel prep because it comes out no matter what. I've been taking
the acidpohilus for a couple of weeks so I've given up. What is depressing is
as soon as I get the help, I'm ready to get up out of bed but will be alone
during the day so if I have an accident, I'll have to sit in it so now I don't
want to get up until I get my bowels back to normal. I know its the antibiotic
because I didnttake it for a few weeks and was normal about 2 weeks after I
stopped it and then a week after I started taking it again, I became a mess
again. It sucks because they want to make
sure that there isn't anymore infection in my back that caused the
osteomyelitis which I know is important and I thought all this time it was for
the VRE that it also got rid of. On top of it, my hair is falling out and I
have no idea why. That just started a couple of months ago so I know it isn't
from the infection or surgery due to my spinal fusion.

Stacy, acidophilus will do nothing for the infection. It is to replace the good
bacteria that the antibiotics is killing off along with the bad bacteria.
