After 27 years as a quad, I got my first butt sore. My cushion went flat and
I didn't notice it for awhile. I got a small sore that looked to be healing
OK. But after an extra long night in the ER, sliding onto X-ray tables,
etc., it scraped it open. The good news is they setup a home nurse to come
look at it daily. At first they put some this fabric stuff that is supposed
to eat away the dead fluff stuff. That's done and now they put on a gel
stuff that helps promote healing. It's about dime size, but not real deep.
It sure takes time for these things to heal up. So far I stay up in my chair
in the day. Just reclining lots and lifting my leg up now and then.

No fun,

Greg
