I'm with you Dave. I certainly didn't mean to toot my own horn in any shape or
fashion. I have been blessed with great parents, a wonderful wife, and a
supporting community. Many of you, my q-list friends deal with circumstances
that I would never have the strength to deal with. My admiration for your
strength and courage is boundless.
My point with this money talk was that even with a good income many of the
things we need as quads are out of reach. Everything called "medical" from vans
to suppositories is just insanely priced. It isn't right or just, but what can
we do? If you need it, you need it.
Every one of us is just one nasty bug away from disaster. I am one of the
oldest members on this list, and I worry constantly that I won't be able to
support my kids, or even worse, see them grow up. I'll be 56 in May. The quads
that make it to 60 are few and far between.
Well, I am just rambling. Thanks for listening. May all of you have a blessed
holiday and a healthy new year. God bless. Larry Willis

i sure hope no one takes any of this money talk as bragging or shaming. i
merely stated my circumstances as they are with no evaluations expected or
taken. i am very much in awe of people who are getting so much mileage out of
their resources. creativity is certainly exploited by us physically
challenged. happy holidays to you all....
