I have been using it for several years without any negative side-effects I take 1 teaspoon in the morning and night. When I first started taking it I went for 19 months without a single infection I now get about 3 to 4 infections a year. Oh yes I almost forgot to mention that I use an indwelling catheter and before I began taking CS I suffered from multiple infections including Pseudomonas.
