I went to the local handicap van place here in St. Louis and checked out the Uplander. I like the looks of it better compared to the dodge. As far as inside room it has just a hair less turning room than the dodge(brochure confirms this)The steepness of the ramp was my main concern.......well there re two choices in ramp styles, you either get the in floor ramp or the fold up. The in floor ramp was harder for me because you start going up then you have a small lip to get over as you enter the van.....this slowed down my momentum. With the folding ramp I was able to keep my momentum up the entire ramp. I use a manual chair......with a power chair this wouldnt be a concern. Ron c7 **************Ideas to please picky eaters.
