Danny,

I forgot to suggest that you ask your doctor for Oxybutin which shrinks the
bladder thus less urine to pool.

Hello Danny,

The tests done on cranberry was on fresh juice not pill form. The Colloidal
Silver has had my attention lately. Seems the more I read the less
consistent the literature is. I think there is something to it if I can
ever figure it out. Every info source contradicts the next.

In the past I wore externals. UTIs were like two in three months. My
doctors were always on me to get a SP which I did last April in which time
I've had two UTIs. Every doctor or person with a SP says that this is the
best thing you can do for yourself. The catheter is changed every six
weeks. The site is cleaned daily and triple action antibiotic jell is also
put around the site.

I drink horsetail tea daily which is a weed bought cheaply or found. Tastes
like the cob on corn on the cob. Drunk also as tea is the silk from the
cob. Freshness opposed to capsules is important.

Actually I have had more than two UTIs since last year but they required
antibiotics. One item you failed to mention to do is drink, drink, drink
fluids, even throughout the night. If I do not drink enough then I will
come down with an infection.

Merrill

Hello Gang, I was wondering how many use these products --- (1) D Mannose--
(2) Vitamin C--- (3) Cranberry Pills -- (4) Collodial Silver -- (5) Apple
Cider Vinegar ???? I get UTI 's all the Time and the only One of these I
have not Tried is >> Collodial Silver. { I stay faithfull on the cranberry
and vitamin C } but never go long without bad UTI trouble. I have a
Supra-Pubic Catheter and doctors say there will always be infection trouble,
But don't some of you with indwelling Catheters go long periods between
serious UTI infections??? It's hard to be able to live in pain but always
worry about infection killing you.

                                                             Thanks All!!
