I live in Reno Nevada. Actually just outside Reno at the base of a mountain and we are at 5500'. Although it is cold in winter we have a lot of sunshine and generally I can be outside four or five days every week. Although that was not possible while we had 15 inches of snow! Our record high in summer was 108, but our summertime average is in the high eighties. The only major complaint I have is that we are subject to a lot of wind, especially as there is nothing between us and the top of the mountain, except for deer and coyotes :-) have a great day Joan C4
