I take Xanax at night if I can't go to sleep before or after I take Ambien and trazodone . I believe it is addictive and you have to be weaned off the medication after long-term use. . I find it very helpful. That is what I have heard from somebody, who was told that by a doctor friend. I have taken for longtime my prescription is 2 of .05 mg and I break each one and half and take as needed. I have always had a lot of sleep problems and I go to a sleep doctor. I guess they're waiting for a couple new sleep medications to be approved, I was told on my last appointment. I'm also supposed to get a sleep light that is supposed to help with sleeping. Has anyone else ever used to sleep light? I hate to spend $100 if they're not going to work? I know there was somebody on the list that was prescribed trazodone for a lot of pain at night. I believe it was Corey. I will be interested to hear others' experience with. I am given a generic medication. Dana
