Congratulations on that huge milestone Dave. I also like to refer to the day of my injury as a milestone rather than an anniversary. I have chosen not to commemorate any of my milestones, but I am planning on doing something for the 13th anniversary of my successful weaning from the ventilator. That is something to be proud of. It's coming up August 6. I'm still not quite sure what I'm going to do, but it's going to be something big.
I'm impressed that you were able to go 17 years with full employment. I can honestly say I don't think I would have been able to do that, but I often miss the stress that I used to have with my work. I used to thrive on it, but it's probably not too conducive to good health nowadays. I thank you for taking care of yourself and continuing to inspire those of us who follow in your wake.
