I think that some of our emails may have crossed each others path, between
replies. That seems pretty easy these days with the lightening speed of the
internet. I would caution those who are under doctors care to consult you
doctor before making any major changes to your prescribed medications. Its
just
sound medical advise.

Roy's product has merit when no other valid options exist. Keep in mind
that this is still between you and your doctors.

Now..... back to the football game you winnies, lol.
Best Wishes

Paul... you must be a Democrat... because your answer sounds like you don't
want to do anything to help yourself... and to let others such as your doctor
to do it for you.
Being a quadriplegic has never been easy for me... however, I will eat dog
Doo Doo if I thought it would help me. That has always been my attitude for
49 years. Do like my football coach once told me... suck it up. Help
yourself and stop being a crybaby.

If you eliminate all the good stuff you are required to take, expect
empactment. Then Roy's company will sell you at a discount a PIE device.
Prunes,
peaches, cherries, figs, celery and yes apples too.

Don't forget to pinch your nose when using cod liver oil too.

Hi Roy,

I also take fiber capsules daily. The apple a day sounds

doable...but dried apricots are not the most tasty things,

for me :)

So are you saying....no senna and no stool softeners? I

don't know if anything will come out if I do that. How

about Miralax as suggested by John?

Thanks sooooo much!

Paul

Paul...
... as some of you may know I've spent the last 20 years studying the bowel
and how to help our problem. Based on that... let me give you some of my
knowledge.
Hard stool is always caused by stool remaining in your colon too long as the
purpose of the colon is to remove water from the highly liquid stool coming
from the small intestine.
Almost every quadriplegic that I have known... including myself... has what
is called slow "transit" time... meaning that the stool goes slowly through
your colon. This causes more water to be extracted and the result is hard
stool.
So here are some choices and I would recommend to you:
1. Avoid all laxatives of all kinds because they damage your colon tissue.
Chemicals are not good for your body.
2. Eat more fruit... especially apples because their fiber is the best
available today for this problem.
3. Locate some dried apricots at the local market and eat about 5-6 of them
daily. You've heard of the help of prunes... dried apricots are
supercharged prunes.
4. Finally... drink more water as this will help your stool become softer
and easier to pass.
Finally... if all else fails please go to my website... link below for more
information.
Your quadriplegic friend... Roy

Senna is not real good at long term use for a lot of folks. eat more greens,
take acidophylus an hour after prescriptions and try Mirilax. The Mirilax
will do the job but the rest is still good advice.

Best wishes,

john

Hi,

Hoping some of you folks might be able to provide assistance.

Recently my stools have become very hard. I currently take

2 over-the-counter stool softener capsules the night before

my routine which I do every other morning, every other day.

I also take two senna tablets the night before as well.

But recently, they have become hard. Any thoughts on what

to try?

Thanks so much!
