Well, I believe the 2000 election was stolen by lawyers. The 2004 election was
mismanaged on the democrats side, or Carl Rove won it by bringing all the
slackjawed, knuckle dragging homophobes out of their caves to vote against Gay
Marriage. This maneuver brought out enough ultra right wingers and while they
were in the booth they voted Bush because he wasn't a New England Lawyer that
fell out of Ted Kennedy's other pair of pants.
Carl Rove was my choice as anti-Christ.
Our system works, but not with universal suffrage. You can't let any moron
vote and get intelligent results. Voting should be a right people earn. Serving
as a politician should hold a responsibility toward the people represented. If
a politician violates his oath they should be exiled. Races should be budgeted
and funded within that budget. A campaign should be limited to six weeks of
campaigning. If you do not vote for a 5 year period, you loose that right.
There could be hundreds of ways to earn the right to vote. People that earn the
right to vote are much less likely to vote for people that are endorsed by MTV,
or fox news. Right now the retarded vote far outnumbers the people with high
IQ's in the nation.

Anybody voting "should" know this but they still have to
count votes to determine the electoral college and It is an outdated
system and should've been changed after the last fiasco we
had.

Once
again, folks, it is the electoral college, or the Supreme court that selects
our
president. It isn't done by popular vote. If it was done by popular vote the
politicians would only campaign in east coast and west coast cities. They
wouldn't need votes from middle America or the south.

These are the times when I wish I'm wrong, actually I hope I'm wrong....
and you are right. ABC's Dateline reported this info about our combat
soldiers votes not being counted. And that is not to imply that our
fighting soldiers don't vote or don't want to vote. Again, I hope I'm
wrong.

Best Wishes

All military personnel deployed anywhere in the world vote by absentee ballot.
And the DO vote and the votes ARE counted.

And what is truly a shame is..... that soldier's vote ballots are seldom, to
never counted, as they rarely make it back to the states on time. Its a
little known fact, but still true.
