Amen Quadius! Go Lightly, is a dry mix added to a gallon of fresh water and used the day before a bowel inspection. It does a great job of clearing and cleaning one's bowel too. You have probably noticed that it is the choice of most doctors before they begin the process of inspection. Some of the most important lessons in life and business, I learned in the sandbox. Be nice to others and don't toss sand. Its good information to know. Best Wishes In a message dated 6/4/2008 6:25:56 P.M. Central Daylight Time, [EMAIL PROTECTED] writes:
While I think wheelchairs advice is accurate, I might also suggest using mineral oil to aid in getting the hard stool out. Whenever I am really constipated and the mineral oil fails, I use two tablespoons of Golightly (can't remember the exact spelling) that my doctor prescribed for me to use. It does help soften hard stool. I, however, do not use it very often and I try to stick to natural devices as much as possible. I have tried adopting the H.O.P.E. formula from a program I watched on PBS. I believe the acronym stands for high fiber, omega-3, probiotics, and enzymes. Quadius PS let's play nice everyone. No need to denigrate anyone. If not, I'd consider calling them and let them know. Also, as suggested by others... fresh fruit and veggies. Consider some of those known fiber roughage in your diet. Nothing like a teaspoon of cod liver oil too. Best Wishes In a message dated 6/3/2008 12:16:27 P.M. I currently take 2 over-the-counter stool softener capsules the night before my routine which I do every other morning, every other day. I also take two senna tablets the night before as well. But recently, they have become hard. Any thoughts on what to try? Thanks so much!
