Wheels has a good point Silas. I'd be out begging with a sign saying you
need money to get your own wheelchair back because they want $400 it has
placed a hardship on you. Even if it isn't true its sure going to look great
when it is on CNN.

Go with your best move,
john

Remember a phrase from the Godfather, my son. Revenge, should always be
served "cold."

May that advice, serve you well.

Thanks John,

You know I probable ought to just take the chair over there, but it’s just
the principal of the way they treat people! And when I told the bi**ch
Ashlee that without my chair that I would be bedridden and then skin issues
plus lung infections. You know what she said “ it wasn’t her problem “ By
George I'm going to make it her problem!

If Medicare was the primary payer on your wheelchair then they will pay for
the work and delivery.
There should be an ombudsman's office to mediate this. You can get that
number from your congressman's office.
If you want to hear miss Ashlee make the sound of a hoover, also make sure
you notify AARP and any local papers. Be sure copies go to the manufacturer,
your congressman, and the state attorney general. Use the name of the place
a lot in your letter. Include the CEO's name and Miss Ashlee.
I wish you the best of luck.
Tell them come and get it. They don't get the $400 until you get the chair
back. (verbally)
When you get the chair tell them to send you a bill so you can send it to
Medicare. Be sure the chair is in your house before saying that. You
shouldn't pay them for trying to rip you off

Can I contact Medicare on line to file a complaint? I had my Dr. call them
also my wound care nurse, well little Miss Ashlee called this afternoon and
said she talked with the ceo he said if they came and picked it up it would
be 400 dollars! But if I took it, they would bring it back. What should I
do? Thanks Silas

I feel John has offered you the best advice so far. Even better than mine.
Most of the complaint work can be done online without leaving your home.
Complaints should always include factual information, personal feeling
should be left in your closing. Leave a primary and secondary phone number
and always your email address. www.bbb.org <http://www.bbb.org/> are good
for business harassment, while the State's Attorney General Consumer
Protection Agency is your legal rep and can force action on your behalf.

Best Wishes

Contact any entity that helped purchase the chair, like insurance or
medicare/medicaid. Also contact your state Attorney General because it may
fall into the crack of some lemon law.

I sure wish you the best of luck,

Hello everybody,

I¢ve got a problem with Holland Medical the company I got my new chair from,
I¢ve just had it 6 months it¢s still under warranty. This makes the 3rd
time its torn up and it¢s the same problem every time, I¢ve took it too them
twice 140 mile trip. I called them today and ask if they would come and
pick it up that I couldn¢t afford to take it to them, and I would be bed
redden without my chair. Ashlee said it wasn¢t her problem and they
wouldn¢t come and fix it or take it to the shop, how much is enough? Am I
responsible 3 times for their encompodence? What do I need to do? Thanks
Silas
