I¹ve never had a really bad bedsore that opened to become a wound in my 27
years living as a quad. However, right now I¹m experiencing a spot that is
to the ;left of my tailbone that doesn¹t want to o away and is sensitive to
pressure (e.g. This AM it was light after being off of kit all night and
after lying on my back for awhile in bed, the color became more reddish).
I¹ve had all different sorts of spots in these past 27 years but I'd like to
know how different people are able to differentiate between a problem
pressure sore mark and something else.

I did have one occasion when a spot became an open but it resulted from a
bang of my tailbone into my w/c while I was doing a 2-person lift after the
person in the back had been drinking (resulting in the big bang to the
butt).
