Speaking of ''old-timers'' and the quad-list would be incomplete without
mention of Boyd Jenkins' name being brought up!

I forgot about Sue. I wonder how many more old-timers I have forgotten
about.... I must be getting halfzheimer's.
I had heard something of this, and just read this----> Alba Colon, GM Racing
program manager for NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, told SPEEDtv.com that she expects
that in 2009, GM will fund its NASCAR operations at the same level it is this
year.
I hope not too- but you are correct Sir, it would affect NASCAR in a big bad
way!

Subject: [QUAD-L] To The Timmer...
I don't need to be in the subject matter any longer, lol. I haven't seen or
heard from Breezy in a very long time and figured that she went cable with each
move she and her husband did. I do get emails from Sue
DTXNews about twice a year and she still lives in the DC Area. She is still
a very active advocate too.
A word of warning with NASCAR and a few other racing leagues that have been
heavily sponsored by GM.
GM executives are taking a hard, hard look at their sponsorships for 2009 and
may pull out all together.
I hope not. As this move would affect NASCAR greatly.
Tim, have you heard anything about that?
Best Wishes
W

I thought you were a drag racer at that racing event/Halloween
Party/Stuntman's bb-q.... ahhahaha!!!! Speaking of racing; if you or anyone on
the list ever hears from our old friend Breezy, tell her (which she may already
know) that Iowa is Rusty Wallace country. He built the Iowa Speedway, and it is
becoming quite the raceway.
