I hated my TDX3 for 2 reasons.
First was the electric legrest. Each legrest has it’s own built on motor so
you have to plug/unplug it every time you take the legrest off. They just
looked and felt big.
Second was the electronics. I don’t know if it’s the motors, gears, or
motherboard, but it was hard to drive it in a straight line. Like when you are
going down a sidewalk and it starts to veer to the left, when you try to
adjust
using the joystick it clicks and jerks back. There was no smooth way to make
slight adjustments in steering.
I like the tilt/recline but it' to big & bulky to get use to. I had the
dealer out several times to program it but I just couldn't get use to it. I'm
going to ask if I can use my next chair on an in home trial basis before I
choose the next one. I know it will need measured just for me but if I can try
one, it should give me an idea if I'm going to use it or just let it collect
dust!
