What bits of wisdom would you pass along to someone with a new SCI or even someone with a long term injury? Here's mine: 1. Hope and pray each day that you will recover and/or be cured of your injury, but move forward and live each day as though you will not. 2. Be good to and patient with those who provide your care. You may need them more them you may ever realize and their willingness to assist you is vital, especially if they are not being paid. 3. Don't limit yourself because of your injury. Many people with SCIs are able to complete college or other training programs, obtain jobs, etc. Looking forward to your responses. Steve
