Mine is made by tuperware.  It's padded with foam.  The bucket is round but
it's the only chair i've tried that I don't slip in.

Subject: [QUAD-L]-Throne advice

I've had the same commode chair since 1980. It has been a great piece..of
equipment. I've had the seat recovered several times but the seamstress that
was doing that moved away and now I cabn't seem to find anyone that will
recover it for a decent price. It has a lovely 4 inch thick foam seat under
naughahide (sp). In most cases I hate getting out of that chair.
I can find similar commode and shower chairs but none with the rectangular
catch bucket that removes from behind and is suspended low enough for me to
stimulate.
Am I missing something? Do any of you know where such a throne can be
purchased. Mine is also having peculiar aging problems. I'd like to replace it
before I don't have a pot to poop in. If any of you know a place that has a
comfortable shower/commode chair. While mine looks a lot like the Invacare
model, it holds the bucket lower and I need those inches of clearance.
Maybe you have a better, more comfy chair. I'm listening.
I feel like a friend is dying.

Best to all,
john
