Medicare paid for 80% of my Permobil and my supplemental insurance cover
the other 20%. I had to drop the supplemental insurance about 4 1/2 years
ago because they got too expensive so now, if I were to getting new chair, I
would be personally responsible for the other 20%.

When I got my Permobile... I contacted a physical therapist that I knew
personally and who I knew would write up a great letter to convince Medicare
up of need for a new power chair and the one I wanted.
