Did anyone go out to see or enjoy the moon last night? I think the full moon was Monday night but it looked full last night as well. It was in the 70s here and so beautiful.
When we went outside around 7 p.m.... the moon was just coming up over the mountains and it was SOOOOO bright! And it looked to have a slight orange tint to it. It was so bright that I could even read my watch easily enough! It was simply gorgeous! Of course it kept climbing up higher and higher getting away from the mountains and illuminating everything. The two-story house next to us look like a big light was shining on the side of it! Was still able to enjoy the stars and constellations on the other side of the sky and we stayed out there as long as we could. And one bright planet -- didn't take our GPS out and it would not have worked anyway look as the moon was so bright. This is great because by Halloween it will be DARK. We love sitting out front and hoping as many little kiddies as possible come by. We usually sit in the dark and have only one tiny little ceramic pumpkin light on and every once in awhile my husband will go "BRUUU-HA HA HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" and the neighbors & kids chuckle.
