Tim, my doctor said it is normal to have a little bleeding, he told me there is some product that can shrink it or dry it up a bit if the meaty tissue is to large, but told me not to do anything because it is normal to have a bit that bleeds some. thats all i know about that part---some others may have more info on that. On my shower days we put triple antibiotic salve on the tissue around the hole, then cut a guage pad to the center.. so it fits around the tube and kind of tape it in place to help it stay in place... this usually catches any bleeding or drainage to keep it off any underclothes or pants. I'm sure it's just some irritation from the folley. Would this be concidered normal? Do the stomas ever fully heal up so there is no occational bleeding __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
