Tim, my doctor said it is normal to have a little bleeding, he told me there is 
some product that can shrink it or dry it up a bit if the meaty tissue is to 
large, but told me not to do anything because it is normal to have a bit that 
bleeds some. thats all i know about that part---some others may have more info 
on that.  On my shower days we put triple antibiotic salve on the tissue around 
the hole, then cut a guage pad to the center.. so it fits around the tube and 
kind of tape it in place to help it stay in place... this usually catches any 
bleeding or drainage to keep it off any underclothes or pants.

I had my supra pubic done about 2 months ago now but get a little occational 
bleeding around the stoma opening. I'm sure it's just some irritation from the 
folley. Would this be concidered normal? Do the stomas ever fully heal up so 
there is no occational bleeding
