To those who live in cold country,
My VNA nurse was in this morning and took my BP with her very cold
BP cuff, it's so cold because she leaves it in her car overnight. So, today i
was on a mission to find a solution to keeping the cuff warm while it stays in
the car in the winter. i went to a liquor store and they have these soft
insulated bags for bottles of wine to stay cool, it should work for the cuff to
stay warm. as we all know a cold BP cuff first thing in the morning while your
snuggled in bed is shocking - to say the least.
So, pass it on to your visiting nurse if you live in cold country.
