I am just about at wits end. Once again my bowels have erupted in pain. I
am racking my brain trying to figure out what it is that may be causing this
problem, but the only thing I can ID is that I did change my probiotic
(acidophilus) to one without dairy. The sad part is it's really expensive
and right now I just don't know if it is the problem or not.

I have been a proponent of oatmeal and I take Metamucil on a daily basis.
Over the last couple of weeks I have been plagued with a burning sensation
that begins just below my belly region and extends all the way down to the
rectum. I would think these are phantom pains, but my bowel regiment has
had nothing but loose movements for what seems like ages. Even when my
bowels seemed to be doing pretty well, which is that they aren't in
excruciating pain, I consistently have loose movements.

Does anyone have any ideas? I'm going to try to talk to my doctor once
again, but this happened last year from June through November and it was the
oatmeal once a day that finally got me through it. This year I had the
problem from late June through the middle of August and I was never able to
identify what remedy the situation.

I have written in before, but I'm almost willing to do anything now.
