Twice in eighteen years I had allowed UTI's to advance to getting into my blood stream. Both times required hospitalization and IV antibiotics for four days. Since going to a suprra - pubic three years ago I have not had any problems if enough fluids are consumed. But my early days when I used the external catheters, frequent UTI's were treated successfully with fluids and oral antibiotics. A product named

I dont have a superpubic so im not much help in this instance. Only thing I could add is make sure your drinking plenty, taking your vitamin c, possibly cranberry pills. Try reading on the net in forums about others with superpubics.
